What is the Constitution?
The constitution describes how Calon Teifi is structured and operates: elected officers, membership, and so on.
Why have a Constitution?
We need a constitution because we ought to operate on a formal, democratic basis. Also we have now opened a bank account and may soon be handling grant money, managing subsidiary limited companies, etc. We need to tell other bodies exactly who "we" are.
The constitution was approved at the AGM of 22nd May 2010. Any amendments can only be made by appropriate vote at a Calon Teifi AGM (as described in Section 6.4 of the constitution).
