Veg Growers Group

This is a group for anyone who grows or wants to grow vegetables in garden, allotment or field (or window box).
The aim is:
   - to pool experience,
   - to help start people off growing food,
   - to compare notes, etc.

So beginners are welcome and we also need old hands to give advice.
If you've never grown veg  - join us to learn how.
If you know a thing or two - come and tell us.

We aim to meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month, preferably in a different person's veg patch each month.  Though in the cold months we usually meet indoors. The host supplies tea & coffee.  But if you need extra refreshments you have to bring your own . 

Need a bit of excercise? Need help with some daunting task in your veg patch? We also hold Work Parties (more work than party, but FUN and it gets the job done).
